VOCATIONAL EVALUATION - Professional vocational evaluation for private sponsors, schools, state agencies and federal agencies. Service currently provided in Madison and Jackson County, Alabama and Wayne, Lewis and Lawrence Counties, Tennessee. Standardized tests, work samples and vocational exploration/situational assessments help persons set appropriate vocational goals.

WORK AND PERSONAL ADJUSTMENT TRAINING – General readiness training is provided in actual employment settings preparing persons for entry into the real world of work. As a part of this program real work is provided in conjunction with classroom activities, case management and vocational coaching. Services currently provided in Madison County.

JOB COACHING – Accompanying new employees to a variety of job sites, Job Coaches assist with the transition to employment. Job Coaches do this through training, accommodations and orientation. Employers may also receive tax credit for wages paid to program participants. Service currently provided in Madison, Limestone, Morgan, and Cullman Counties.

JOB PLACEMENT - One to one matching of job requirements and individual skills to provide employers qualified employees and to provide jobs for persons, primarily those with vocational disabilities. Many employers receive tax credit for wages paid to program participants. Service provided in Madison, Limestone, Morgan, and Cullman Counties.

| PARTNERS WITH INDUSTRY - Be a part of our Partners with Industry network. Currently numerous local Madison County businesses and industries network to exchange relevant employment information. Subjects range from hiring practices to disability accommodation. This information serves to advise Phoenix staff to enhance effectiveness of Phoenix programs in vocational preparation. Business and Industry also provides listing of their jobs and feedback on Phoenix job readiness training, job development, job placement and job follow-up programs. |

| SOCIAL SECURITY PAYEE - Phoenix acts as payee for social security beneficiaries. Phoenix manages benefits and money, based on Social Security Guidelines to assist appropriate spending for the beneficiary. Service provided in Madison County. |
